Noodle Soup

What you need
tbsp oil

tbsp spring onion

cup cabbage

tbsp soy sauce

tsp salt

cup beans
tbsp green chilli

bunch basil leaves

tbsp water

cup noodles

tsp vinegar

tsp sugar

tbsp garlic

cup vegetable stock
tbsp cornflour

tbsp ginger

tbsp chili sauce

tsp ground white pepper

tbsp fresh coriander
Instructions
1: Heat a Wok or a Kadai until it is very hot. Then add in oil, and add in the finely chopped ginger, garlic and green chillies. Saute until they start to change colour. 2: Add in the finely chopped cabbage, beans, coriander stems and the carrot. Add 1 tsp of salt. Cook for 2 minutes or until the vegetables have softened. 3: Add soy sauce, chilli sauce and White Pepper powder. Mix well and add in the vegetable stock, vinegar and sugar. Taste and add salt, if needed. Add the noodles and cook until tender. 4: Make a paste of 1 tbsp of cornflour with some water. Add it to the soup and continue cooking it till it thickens to the desired consistency (if needed). 5: Add the spring onion, fresh basil leaves and turn off the heat. 6: Serve in a bowl and garnish with spring onions.View original recipe
