Oats & Soya Cutlet

A low fat and protein-rich Oats & Soya Cutlet recipe that is healthy and easy to make. This recipe uses oats and soya chunks blended with spices and herbs, shaped into cutlets, and shallow fried or baked for a delicious snack.

What you need

cup soya chunks
warm water

tbsp garlic

tbsp fresh ginger
tbsp green chilli

onion

tbsp fresh coriander leaves

tsp red chilli

tsp salt

tsp cumin powder

tsp garam masala

water
oil
Instructions
1: Soak the soya chunks in hot water for 10 minutes. 2: Blend the oats into a fine powder and set aside. 3: In the same mixer jar, add the drained soya chunks and blend into small granules. Add this to the oats flour. 4: Add all the other ingredients and mix well to combine into an even mixture. Sprinkle water as needed to bring together the mixture. 5: Take small handfuls of the mixture and shape into cutlets. 6: Shallow fry the Tikkis in a pan or apply oil and bake/air-fry them for 20 minutes at 200°c, flipping halfway through. 7: Serve it with mint curd chutney or ketchup.View original recipe
