What you need

onion

tbsp ginger garlic paste

tsp sugar

tbsp coriander powder
green chilli

tsp turmeric powder

tsp salt
tbsp oil

tsp cumin seed

tsp mustard seed
fresh tomatoes

tbsp fresh coriander leaves
tbsp red chili powder
Instructions
1: Heat oil in a kadai, add mustard, cumin, green chilli, and curry leaves. Let it crackle. 2: Add the sliced onions and sauté till it turns golden brown. 3: Add ginger garlic paste and sauté for a minute. 4: Add the spice powders and sauté till it loses its raw flavour. 5: Add the tomatoes and let it cook till it is mashed and oil is released from the sides. 6: Add ¼ cup of water, mix it well. Season it with salt and sugar. 7: Add chopped coriander leaves. Mix it well. 8: Transfer it to a bowl, serve it hot with dosa/idli, rice, chapati etc.View original recipe
