What you need

tsp vinegar

tbsp spring onion

tbsp water

tbsp soy sauce

tbsp corn flour
tbsp oil

tsp salt

tsp black peppercorn

chicken drumsticks

tbsp fresh ginger

green chili
tbsp fresh garlic

red chilli

onion

fl oz frying oil
Instructions
1: Slit the chicken drumstick pieces on the sides. 2: Add egg, cornflour and salt. Mix well to coat the chicken pieces. 3: Deep fry the chicken pieces in hot oil for 10 minutes or until cooked through. Set this aside. 4: In a mixer grinder, pulse grind the red chillies and black peppercorns into a coarse mixture. 5: In a hot wok/kadai, add oil and once the oil is hot add ginger, garlic and cook until the ginger and garlic turn golden brown. 6: Add finely chopped onion and cook until the onions turn golden brown. 7: Add soy sauce, vinegar and salt. Mix well and add some water. 8: Add the fried chicken drumstick pieces and the ground chilli and pepper mix. 9: Toss until the pepper sauce coats the chicken pieces.
