What you need

cup water

cup rice flour

tbsp butter

tsp salt

tbsp urad dal

tsp cumin seed
Instructions
1: In a pan, dry roast urad dal. Blend it to a fine powder. 2: Add it to a bowl with rice flour. 3: Add ajwain, cumin seeds, salt and butter and mix it with your hands till it forms a coarse texture (when you hold the mixture tightly, it should bind together). 4: Add water and mix it well till it forms a dough-like consistency. 5: Grease the murukku maker with oil, add the dough into it. Press it on parchment paper gently. 6: Heat oil in a kadai, gently drop the murukku into the oil and fry till it becomes crispy. 7: Take it off the kadai, drain the oil and serve.View original recipe
