What you need

cup sugar

cardamom

tbsp saffron

tsp turmeric powder

tbsp cashew halves

tbsp pistachio nuts

cup water

cup milk
Instructions
1: Pour water and add the badam. 2: Bring the water to a boil, and continue cooking for 2 more minutes. 3: Strain the badam and de-skin it, pat dry with a clean towel. 4: Add the peeled badam to a pan and dry roast until all the moisture has evaporated, and set aside. 5: In a mixer jar add the sugar, cardamom, and turmeric powder and blend it into a fine powder. 6: Now add the roasted badam to the mixer and blend it into a fine powder again. 7: Store it in an air-tight container and refrigerate for up to 6 months. 8: Now add 3 tbsp of this powder to 2 ½ Cups of hot milk, give it a good mix and serve either hot or cold.View original recipe
