What you need

tsp salt
tbsp oil
pinch asafoetida

bunch curry leaves

tsp sugar

tsp cumin seed

tsp mustard seed

tsp ginger

tbsp fresh coriander leaves

onion

green chili
clove fresh garlic
tsp red chili powder

tsp garam masala

cup cooked white rice

tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
1: Heat oil and add mustard seeds, allow it to splutter. 2: Add cumin seeds, asafoetida, dry red chilli, curry leaves, ginger, garlic and green chilli. Saute for a few seconds until aromatic. 3: Add onion and saute until it turns translucent. 4: Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala powder and salt. Saute for 30 seconds. 5: Add sugar and cooked rice. Toss for 2-3 minutes. 6: If needed, add more salt to the rice. 7: Finish with coriander leaves and lemon juice.
