Sura Puttu is a delicious shark fish dish made with a blend of spices, coconut, and shallots. The fish is cooked and then combined with sautéed ingredients for an authentic South Indian flavor.

What you need

tsp salt

tsp turmeric powder

tsp turmeric powder
tbsp oil

cup shallot

tbsp garlic

tbsp fresh ginger
tbsp green chilli

curry leaves
cup shredded coconut

tsp salt

tsp red pepper powder

tbsp fresh coriander leaves
Instructions
1: In a pot of water, add salt and turmeric powder and bring it to a boil. Add the fish, cover and cook for 5 minutes. 2: Remove it from the water. Mash it using a fork. 3: In a pan, heat oil and add the shallots, garlic, ginger and green chillies. 4: When they start to brown, add the curry leaves, grated coconut, turmeric powder and salt. Saute for 2 minutes. 5: Add the shredded fish and pepper powder, and saute for 2 more minutes. Add the coriander leaves and mix well.View original recipe
