What you need

onion

tbsp tamarind paste

tsp coriander powder
fl oz groundnut oil

cup rice flour

tsp salt
pinch asafoetida

cup water

oz baking soda
tsp chilli

bunch fresh coriander leaves
tsp red chili powder
Instructions
1: In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the stuffing. 2: Make slits on the chillies and gently remove the seeds, making sure not to damage the chillies. 3: Stuff some of the stuffing into the chilli cavity. 4: To make the batter, mix together all the ingredients except water. Add the water gradually while whisking to make sure there are no lumps. 5: Dip the stuffed chillies into the batter and fry in hot groundnut oil until crisp and golden. 6: Slice the chillies.
