What you need

fl oz milk

tsp saffron

cup sugar

raw cashews

pistachio nuts

almond
Instructions
1: Bring the milk to a boil. Add the chopped nuts. 2: On medium heat, stir the milk regularly until it reduces to half of its original quantity, around 30-40 minutes. You can increase the flame to high if you are comfortable with stirring it vigorously. Keep scraping the sides at regular intervals, and adding them back into the milk. 3: Once the milk has reduced, add sugar, saffron and cardamom powder. Boil further until the mixture thickens, 5-10 minutes. 4: Once it has cooled slightly, transfer it into another dish. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours or until chilled. 5: Once chilled, serve with a portion of the creamy top layer (malai). Optionally, garnish with more chopped nuts.View original recipe
