tsp turmeric powder

cup water
tsp asafoetida

tsp salt

tsp urad dal

bunch curry leaves

tbsp peanut oil

tsp mustard seed
tsp red chili powder
Instructions
1: Wash the potatoes and add them to a pressure cooker along with water and salt and pressure cook for 2 whistles on a medium flame. 2: Cool down the potatoes and peel them, then cut into cubes and set aside. 3: In a pan, pour oil and add mustard seeds, letting them splutter. Then add urad dal. 4: Once the dal is golden brown, add the curry leaves and asafoetida. 5: Add the potatoes and mix well. 6: Saute the potatoes until they develop color, then add the powdered spices and salt. 7: Mix well and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes to develop a crispy crust.View original recipe
