A delightful Pazham Pori recipe combining ripe bananas and a crispy batter made from all-purpose flour and rice flour, perfect for enjoying during the monsoon with tea.
The banana used for this recipe should ideally be ripe, but not too soft. Cut the banana in half and then each half into three long slices.
For the batter, combine the maida, rice flour, turmeric powder, salt, sugar and water. Whisk it until there are no lumps.
Heat oil in a pan on high heat.
Dip the banana slice in the batter and deep fry them until the edges are golden, around 2 minutes.
