Instructions
1: In a non-stick kadhai, add the cooked rice with some ghee and sauté for 1 minute. 2: Cool it down and blend it into a very smooth paste. 3: In the same kadhai, add some more ghee and fry the cashews until they are golden brown, then set them aside. 4: Add the rice paste and sauté for a minute, then add sugar and mix thoroughly. 5: Add the saffron strands, food color, salt, and cardamom powder. 6: Cook the mixture while gradually adding the remaining ghee. 7: Once the ghee completely separates and it starts to look like halwa, add the fried cashews and mix.View original recipe
