What you need

in cinnamon

tsp ajwain

tsp turmeric powder

tsp salt

tsp baking soda

tsp coriander powder

tsp sugar
bottle gourd
cup besan

tbsp ghee
green chilli
bay leaf

cup tomato puree
fl oz oil
asafoetida

cup onion

tsp cumin seed

tbsp fresh coriander leaves
tsp red chili powder

tsp garam masala

tsp methi

tsp black pepper
Instructions
1: Prepare the kofta mixture by grating the bottle gourd and mixing it with coriander leaves, green chili, ginger garlic paste, and all spices. 2: Shape the mixture into small balls (koftas) and set aside. 3: Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the koftas until golden brown. Drain and set aside. 4: In another pan, heat ghee and add cumin seeds, bay leaf, and cinnamon. 5: Add asafoetida, chopped onions, and green chilies; sauté until onions are golden brown. 6: Stir in ginger garlic paste, followed by tomato puree and all the spices, and cook until the oil separates. 7: Add water and let the gravy simmer. 8: Finally, add the fried koftas, garnish with coriander leaves and kasuri methi, and serve.View original recipe
