Instructions
1: Preheat an oven at 170°c. 2: In a bowl, mix together the ghee and curd. 3: Place a sieve over the bowl. Add the maida, gulab jamun mix, powdered sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Sieve it into the bowl. 4: Mix it to remove the lumps. 5: Add milk gradually to make the batter smooth. 6: Add it to a cake tin greased and lined with baking paper. 7: Bake at 170°c for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean. 8: Rest the cake until it cools down. 9: To make the sugar syrup, add the sugar, water and cardamom to a pan. Bring it to a boil and cook just until the sugar has dissolved. 10: Pour this slowly over the cake to absorb. 11: In a bowl, mix together the Gulab Jamun mix, saffron and milk until it is smooth and free of lumps. 12: Add it to a pot and bring it to a simmer over low heat, mixing regularly. 13: Add the condensed milk and mix until combined. Allow the mixture to cool down. 14: Spread this mixture over the cake. 15: Decorate the top by sprinkling pista, almond and rose petals.View original recipe
