What you need

cup water

oz garlic

tsp salt

tsp mustard seed
tamarind
tsp jaggery
tbsp red chili powder

oz fenugreek seeds

bunch curry leaves

fl oz sesame oil
Instructions
1: Soak the tamarind in a cup of water. 2: In gingelly oil, fry the garlic until golden brown and set them aside to cool. 3: Blend to a paste, retaining a few whole cloves. 4: In the same pan, splutter mustard seeds. 5: Add the curry leaves, fenugreek powder, asafoetida, and the garlic paste. 6: On a low flame, cook this mixture until the raw flavor goes. 7: Add 1 tablespoon of chili powder and the tamarind pulp. Add the whole cloves too. 8: Cook until thick and the oil begins floating on the surface, season with salt and jaggery. 9: Allow the pickle to cool completely before storing it in an airtight container.View original recipe
