A delicious Fish Fry made with freshwater fish, flavored with ginger garlic paste, spices, and coated in a crispy batter. Perfect as a side dish for meals or snacks.

What you need

tsp turmeric powder

tbsp water

tsp lemon juice

tsp salt
fl oz oil

tbsp corn flour

tsp coriander powder

tbsp ginger garlic paste

tsp garam masala
tbsp red chili powder

tbsp curry leaves

tsp black pepper

Instructions
1: Clean and wash the fish pieces. Pat dry and keep aside. 2: In a bowl, add the ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, chopped curry leaves, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder, black pepper powder and salt. Mix well. 3: Add the besan flour, cornflour and water to the bowl. Mix well to form a paste. 4: Add the cleaned fish pieces to the Masala paste. Coat each piece of the fish with the masala paste and set aside for 15 minutes. 5: In a deep frying pan, heat the oil. 6: Once the oil is hot, add the fish pieces and deep fry for 3 minutes. 7: Drain the oil using a paper towel and serve the fish pieces with onion slices and lemon wedges.View original recipe
