What you need

tbsp mayonnaise

pinch salt

tsp butter

tsp baking powder

cup onion

green chili
tbsp besan gram flour

pinch black pepper

tbsp fresh coriander leaves

slice tomato

slice cheese
Instructions
1: Combine the gram flour, salt, pepper, baking powder and maida into a thin batter with water. The batter should be thin and runny. 2: Add onion, green chilli and coriander leaves, and mix. 3: Heat butter in a pan and add enough of the prepared mixture to cover the base of the pan. Swirl around the pan to spread it evenly. 4: Add two bread slices on each side. Spread green chutney on one side and mayonnaise on one side. 5: Add tomato slices on one side and sprinkle salt evenly on top. Add cheese on the other slice. Cover and cook on medium heat for 4 minutes, or until the sides turn crisp and slightly golden brown. 6: Fold the sides of the omelette on the bread. Fold one bread slice over the other to form the sandwich. 7: Cook for around 20 seconds on each side. Cut and serve.View original recipe
