tsp baking powder

fl oz milk

cup sugar

medjool dates

cup butter

cup walnut

1: In a bowl with seedless dates, add lukewarm milk and let it soak. 2: Add sugar and oil to a bowl and blend till it combines well. 3: Add eggs and whisk till it starts to get fluffy. 4: Add vanilla essence and whisk the mixture again till the eggs turn fluffy and flows like a ribbon. 5: Sieve in the dry ingredients and walnuts and fold the mixture till it becomes a smooth batter. 6: Transfer it to a baking pan lined with parchment paper. 7: To bake it in the oven, preheat the oven to 180 degrees and bake it for 25 minutes. Check with a toothpick if the cake is done. 8: Let it cool down and then demould it. 9: For a no oven method, preheat a pot on a medium flame, place a small vessel or stand at the bottom of the vessel. Place the baking pan on the vessel inside and close the pot tightly. Bake it on a medium flame for 45 minutes. Do not open the pot during the course of the baking. 10: Let the cakes cool down.
