What you need

tsp turmeric powder

in cinnamon
cup warm water

tsp salt
tbsp groundnut oil

cardamom

tbsp ginger garlic paste

tsp coriander seed

tsp cumin seed

tbsp poppy seed

clove clove
tbsp red chili powder
green chilli

oz chicken

tbsp fresh coriander leaves

Instructions
1: Soak all the ingredients under ‘to soak & grind’ (except ginger garlic paste) for 30 minutes in warm water. 2: Grind it into a paste along with ginger garlic paste and set aside. 3: To a pan, heat oil and add clove, cinnamon and cardamom, followed by onion, green chilli and ginger garlic paste. Saute for 2 minutes. 4: Add chicken, turmeric powder and salt. Saute for 5 minutes. 5: Add red chilli powder and mix for a minute. Then add water and bring to a boil. Cover and cook for 15 minutes on low heat. 6: Add the previously prepared paste and mix. Continue cooking for 5 minutes. 7: Garnish with coriander leaves, and serve.View original recipe
