What you need

tsp sesame seed

tsp urad dal

cup water

tbsp desiccated coconut

tsp salt
tbsp oil

tsp mustard seed

tsp urad dal

Instructions
1: Cut and dice the broccoli stems. 2: Heat a pan, add oil. 3: Add the cumin, sesame, urad dal, dry red chillies, fried gram and let it crackle. 4: Add the broccoli stems and saute for 2 minutes. 5: Add water and cook the broccoli for 4-5 minutes. 6: Add the desiccated coconut and mix till it all combines evenly. 7: Cook the mixture down, transfer it to a blender, add a little water and salt, and blend it to a thick, coarse texture. 8: Make a tadka/thalipu; add it to the chutney and mix till it all combines evenly. 9: Serve it along with hot dosas or idlis.View original recipe
