A nostalgic cake popular among 90s kids, resembling apple shape. Despite its name, it does not contain apples. This dessert features a mix of plain cake crumbs, sugar, milk, and coated with desiccated coconut.

1: Crumble the cake using your fingers and set aside, yielding around 3 cups of cake crumbs. 2: In a pan, heat sugar and water together until the sugar dissolves. 3: Add milk and cook until it starts to thicken, around 3-4 minutes. 4: Turn the heat to low and add butter, cocoa powder, and desiccated coconut. Mix until there are no lumps. 5: Add the cake crumbs and mix well. Continue to cook on low heat for 5 minutes or until the mixture turns thick, removing excess moisture. 6: Turn off the heat and allow it to cool down. 7: Roll the mixture into balls and coat in desiccated coconut. 8: Serve the balls as they are, or chilled in the refrigerator.
