A tangy tomato pickle recipe that's easy to make at home, featuring tomatoes, tamarind, spices, and garlic. Perfect for enhancing meals with a zesty flavor.

1: In a pan add 2 tbsp oil, finely chopped tomatoes and sauté it for 5 minutes. 2: Add tamarind, turmeric powder and salt and cook for a further 5 minutes. 3: Cool the mixture and grind it to a smooth paste. 4: In another pan, add 3 tbsp oil, mustard seeds, asafoetida, chopped garlic, chilli powder and the grinded paste, water, and cook for a further 10 minutes adding 4 tbsp of oil. 5: Adjust salt to taste at this point. 6: Add fenugreek powder and complete the cooking process. 7: Store it in a ceramic or glass bowl and consume whenever needed.
