1: Add the ingredients for pureeing to a blender and blend them to a fine paste. 2: Heat oil in a pan, add fennel, cumin seeds, curry leaves and let them crackle. 3: Add the onions and saute till they turn golden brown. 4: Add ginger garlic paste and cook it for a few seconds. 5: Add the tomatoes and masala powders and cook it till the tomatoes start to mash. 6: Add the curry leaf paste and cook it well for a minute. 7: Add a little water, mix it and cover the pan. Let it cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. 8: Add the prawns to the thokku, add salt and mix well, and cook for another 7-10 minutes till the prawns are completely cooked. 9: Garnish it with fried curry leaves and serve it hot with rice, parotta or any tiffin item.
