1: Cut the chicken into large pieces. Add salt, turmeric powder, and water, then pressure cook for 15 minutes on low flame after the first whistle on high flame. 2: Allow the pressure to release naturally and shred the chicken pieces, discarding the bones. 3: In a kadai, heat oil and add the mustard seeds and let them splutter. Then add the red chillies and curry leaves. 4: Add the shallots and sauté until brown. 5: Add the tomatoes and cook until mushy. 6: Add red chili powder, salt, and the chicken, then cook for 5 to 7 minutes on medium flame. 7: Finish with the finely chopped curry leaves and grated coconut.
