A classic Italian pasta dish that is delicious and quick to prepare, taking only 20 minutes. The recipe features spaghetti tossed with garlic, olive oil, and chili flakes, finished with lemon juice and garnished with parsley.

1: Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Season with salt. Add the spaghetti and cook for 7-8 minutes or as per the package instructions. Do not overcook it. 2: Reserve some of the pasta water for later use. Drain the spaghetti, toss with some oil and set aside. 3: In a pan, heat olive oil and add sliced garlic. Saute on medium-low heat until it barely starts turning brown. Add the red chili flakes and mix to infuse the flavour into the oil. 4: Add the reserved pasta water and bring it to a simmer. Add the cooked spaghetti and the chopped parsley. Continue cooking on high heat while mixing continuously until it forms a creamy consistency. 5: Adjust the seasoning by adding some salt. Finish with a drizzle of lemon juice and serve warm.
