1: In a pressure cooker add the soaked channa along with water and salt. 2: Pressure cook for 3 whistles and set aside. 3: In a pot pour oil and add all the whole garam masalas, once aromatic add the sliced onions and saute until the onions turn translucent, add the chilli powder and turmeric powder. 4: Add the soaked rice and saute gently for 30 seconds and pour water and bring it to a boil. 5: Add the drained channa and add it on top of the rice, sprinkle garam masala on top and cover. 6: Cook for 12 minutes on a simmer, once cooked garnish with coriander leaves and serve.
