This Super Easy Cooker Rasam Rice is a comfort meal prepared with tamarind, rice, toor dal, and a blend of spices. It’s a complete dish that brings warmth and flavor in every bite.

1: Soak tamarind in 1 Cup of water and extract the tamarind juice. 2: Wash the rice and dal, and keep aside. 3: Heat a pressure cooker, add oil, chopped tomatoes, crushed garlic pods, turmeric powder, rasam powder, salt. 4: Add the tamarind juice, rice and dal. 5: Pressure cook this adding 6 Cups of Water for 6 whistles. 6: Open the pressure cooker and mash the rasam rice. Add chopped coriander leaves and mix. 7: In another pan, add 2 tsp of ghee, mustard seeds and cumin seeds. Let it splutter and then remove it from the heat. 8: Add the tempered mixture to the mashed rasam rice.
