A super delicious South Indian potato and chicken curry, perfect for serving with rice.

1: Heat a pan, dry roast the whole black pepper, dry red chillies, coriander and cumin seeds. Put it in the blender and blend it to a fine powder. Keep it aside. 2: Heat another pan, add oil. Add the cinnamon, cardamom, cloves, curry leaves, green chillies and let it crackle. 3: Add the onions and cook it till it turns golden brown. 4: Add ginger garlic paste and cook it for a few seconds. 5: Add the tomatoes and cook it till it is mashed and let’s out oil on the sides. 6: Add the potatoes, mix it well and let it cook for a while. 7: Add the masala, cook it till it gives out an aroma. Add water, mix it till it combines with the masala. 8: Add the chicken, mix it till it coats evenly and cook it for a few minutes. 9: Add salt and sugar. Mix it well. 10: Cover the pan and let it cook for 20 minutes on a medium flame, stirring occasionally. 11: Check if the chicken and potatoes are cooked. Transfer it to a bowl. Garnish it with chopped coriander. Serve it hot.
