1: Dry roast the puffed rice for 2-3 mins and cool down completely. 2: Combine the jaggery and water in a pan. Allow it to melt and then it will start frothing, with the perfect color and consistency. The ladle will leave trace marks in the pan. Reduce the flame. 3: Add the powdered spices and salt at this stage and mix well to combine. 4: Add the puffed rice and combine well. Finish with ghee. 5: Dust your hands with rice flour/maida and roll into roundels without applying too much pressure, roll only when warm. 6: Cool down completely and store airtight to maintain the crispness, up to 10 days.
