1: Wash, peel and grate the beetroots and keep aside. 2: In a thick bottomed pan, heat ghee. Once the ghee is hot add cashews and raisins. Once the raisins puff and cashews become golden brown, remove it from the pan. 3: In the same pan, add the grated beetroot and saute for 10 minutes stirring well. 4: Add the milk and let it simmer on low heat until the milk is absorbed. 5: Add the Khova, sugar, cardamom powder and mix well until everything dissolves. 6: Increase the heat to high and saute for 8 minutes stirring continuously. 7: Add the cashews and raisins. 8: Remove from the heat, and serve the halwa warm.
