Sura Puttu is a delicious shark fish dish made with a blend of spices, coconut, and shallots. The fish is cooked and then combined with sautéed ingredients for an authentic South Indian flavor.

1: In a pot of water, add salt and turmeric powder and bring it to a boil. Add the fish, cover and cook for 5 minutes. 2: Remove it from the water. Mash it using a fork. 3: In a pan, heat oil and add the shallots, garlic, ginger and green chillies. 4: When they start to brown, add the curry leaves, grated coconut, turmeric powder and salt. Saute for 2 minutes. 5: Add the shredded fish and pepper powder, and saute for 2 more minutes. Add the coriander leaves and mix well.
