1: Heat oil in a pan, add cumin, ginger, garlic, green chillies and let it crackle. 2: Add the onions and sauté till it turns light brown. 3: Add the masala powders and cook it for a minute on a low flame. 4: Add the potatoes, mix well and let it fry on a high flame for 2 minutes while mixing continuously. 5: Add the tomatoes and sauté till they get soft. 6: Add water and mix well. Cover and let it cook till the water almost evaporates. 7: Add the green peas when there is little water remaining and mix well. 8: Season the mixture with salt and sugar. 9: Add the chopped coriander leaves and mix well. 10: Transfer it to a bowl, garnish with a coriander sprig and serve hot with rice or roti.
