1: In a pan of milk, add sugar, vanilla essence, custard powder and butter. 2: Heat until it comes to a boil while whisking, it will thicken up. 3: In an oven-safe bowl, grease it with butter and add the bread pieces and arrange them evenly. 4: Add the raisins. 5: Pour the milk mixture on top of the bread. 6: Sprinkle sugar on top and bake at 180°C in the oven for 35 minutes or until the top is golden brown. 7: Garnish with fresh fruits and whipped cream as needed.
