1: Heat oil in a pan and add the whole spices and curry leaves. Saute for a few seconds. 2: Add the onion and saute for 2 minutes. 3: Add the tomato and fried gram. Saute until the tomato starts to soften. 4: Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and chicken masala. Saute for 3-4 minutes on medium heat, then turn off the heat. 5: Once it cools down, grind it into a paste adding water as required. 6: Heat oil in another pot and add fennel seeds, curry leaves and onions. Saute until the onions turn translucent. 7: Add ginger garlic paste and saute for 2 minutes. 8: Add the chicken, turmeric powder and water. Bring it to a boil. 9: Add salt and the prepared masala paste. Once it boils, reduce the heat to low, cover and cook for 20 minutes. 10: Add water as needed to adjust the consistency. Simmer for 2-3 more minutes. Sprinkle coriander leaves and turn off the heat.
