A nutritious and healthy Chickpea Salad made with chickpeas, cucumbers, tomatoes, onions, iceberg lettuce, and a flavorful dressing of olive oil, honey, and spices. Perfect for a light meal or a fresh side dish.

1: Wash and soak the chickpeas for 6 hours and strain it. 2: Transfer the chickpeas to a cooker, add enough water till the chickpeas are submerged. Add ½ tsp of salt and pressure cook it for 5 whistles. Let the steam reduce gradually and strain the chickpeas. 3: Heat a pan, add very little oil and add the chickpeas. 4: Add kashmiri chilli and cumin powder. Mix well on a medium flame for 2 minutes. 5: To prepare the dressing, mix olive oil, honey and black pepper powder together. 6: To a mixing bowl, add lettuce, onion, tomato, cucumber, chickpeas and the dressing. Mix well till all of it combines evenly. 7: Season the salad with salt. Mix well and serve.
