1: Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add the mutton chops and sear for a few seconds on a high flame. 2: Add the remaining ingredients, mix well, and pressure cook the mutton for 6 whistles. 3: Take it off the flame and let the steam reduce gradually. 4: Heat oil in a pan, add cumin and peppercorns and let it crackle. 5: Add garlic and sauté for a few seconds. 6: Add the onions and sauté till they turn translucent. 7: Cool the mixture down and blend it to a fine paste. 8: Heat a kadai, add oil. 9: Add fennel seeds, curry leaves and let them crackle. 10: Add the masala paste and cook it on a medium flame for 2 minutes. 11: Add the pressure cooked mutton along with the water and mix well till all ingredients combine evenly. 12: Cover and cook the mutton on a low flame for 10 minutes. 13: Check the seasoning and add salt if necessary. Add black pepper powder and mix well. 14: Add coriander leaves, mix well once and take it off the flame. 15: Serve it hot with rice or parotta or any tiffin item.
