1: Cut the broccoli into florets, wash, clean, and strain the water. Set aside to dry. 2: Grind the tomato into a puree and set aside. 3: Heat oil in a pan. Fry the broccoli for 2 minutes on high heat. Remove from the pan and set aside. 4: Add oil in the same pan. Once heated, add cumin and black peppercorn. Add onion and green chilli, and sauté until the onion turns golden brown. 5: Add ginger garlic paste, salt, turmeric powder, and red chilli powder, and sauté for 2 minutes. 6: Add the tomato puree, cover, and cook on low heat for 5 minutes. 7: Add beaten curd, garam masala powder, and sugar. Stir and cook on high heat for 2 minutes. 8: Add the broccoli, cover, and cook for 2 minutes. 9: Finish with chopped coriander leaves and fresh cream (if using). Serve with rice or chapathi.
